[English] Today, Binance announced they are leaving the Dutch market. They were not granted the necessary approval from the Dutch authorities to provide their products and services to users in the Netherlands.
With immediate effect, no new Dutch users will be accepted. From July 17th, 2023 existing Dutch resident users will only be able to transfer assets from the Binance platform. No further purchases, trades, or deposits will be possible.
Binance encourages users to take appropriate action by transferring assets from their Binance accounts.

Bitvavo as regulated alternative

Vandaag heeft Binance aangekondigd dat het de Nederlandse markt gaat verlaten. Ze hebben niet de benodigde goedkeuring gekregen van de Nederlandse autoriteiten om hun producten en services aan Nederlandse gebruikers aan te bieden.
Nieuwe Nederlandse gebruikers worden niet meer geaccepteerd. Vanaf 17 juli 2023 hebben bestaande Nederlandse gebruikers alleen nog de mogelijkheid om assets over te boeken vanaf het Binance platform. Zij kunnen hierna geen aankopen, transacties of stortingen meer doen.
Binance moedigt gebruikers aan om maatregelen te nemen en hun assets over te boeken vanaf hun Binance account.
