Singapore-based crypto exchange Vauld is the latest crypto platform to suspend all withdrawals, deposits, and trading citing "financial challenges" amid lingering sour market conditions. In a blog post today, CEO Darshan Bathija said that the crypto platform is "facing financial challenges" due to a mix of factors including the financial difficulties of their business partners and the current market uncertainty that has led to a significant amount of customer withdrawals
3. Argentines Seek Hedging in Crypto After Economy Minister Resigns
The cost of buying Tether’s stablecoin USDT with Argentine pesos surged Saturday after Economy Minister Martin Guzman resigned. The resignation marked the biggest departure of President Alberto Fernandez’s government after infighting escalated within the ruling coalition. No replacement was immediately named.

Bitcoin extended its recovery to over $19,000 in European hours Monday after a weekend that saw major cryptocurrencies put up only moderate gains. Japanese financial services giant Nomura said in a Monday note that major economies could enter recession “in the next 12 months” amid tightening government policies and higher costs.
